What this is

The Thought Layer is a free product validation framework tool operated by Hobocode LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. By using this tool, you agree to these terms.

Your content

You own everything you create in this tool. Your responses, your ideas, your frameworks, your CUJs, your PRDs. All of it. We claim no ownership, no license, and no rights to anything you enter. Your content is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

The tool

The Thought Layer is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about availability, uptime, or the quality of AI-generated feedback. The tool is free and we intend to keep it that way, but we reserve the right to change features, add features, or discontinue the service.

AI provider usage

If you connect an AI provider, you are using your own API key and your own account with that provider. Your usage of Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini through this tool is governed by your agreement with that provider, not by us. Any costs incurred from API calls are between you and your provider.

Acceptable use

Use the tool for its intended purpose: thinking through product ideas. Don't use it to attack our infrastructure or do anything that would make a reasonable person shake their head.

Limitation of liability

The Thought Layer is a free tool designed to help you think. It is not a substitute for professional business, legal, or financial advice. We are not liable for business decisions you make based on your use of this tool or any AI-generated feedback it provides.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will note the updated date below. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance.
